Product Description

In 1988 Donald Cassel came up with the inverted king pin for trucks. This king pin flipped the nut around, so that there was less material to get in the way when grinding on a truck. This idea was called the Grind King King Pin. A few years later, 1991, Cassel turned his kingpin idea into a full truck, and the Grind King truck was born. This truck was then reborn in 2001; the Grind King AXL was introduced. This truck featured the V-beam axle, which prevents slip axle.

About Grind King Trucks

There is no doubt that Grind King’s past is most people’s futures. The Venice-based company has been innovating for nearly 20 years a myriad of patented supporting truck hardware and numerous truck designs; which are made in the USA to the highest quality standards. They are commited to their core customer base who value endless innovation and high quality while revolutionizing the skateboard industry

About Mid Height Trucks

Mid height trucks are excellent for all styles of skating and are suitable for wheel sizes up to 56mm without using riser pads. For wheels over 56mm it is recommended to add riser pads or move up to a high truck to prevent wheel bite.

Truck Height Overview
Truck height is the distance between the bottom of the skate deck and the hanger.  In general, a mid-sized truck works well for most skateboarders, but high or low trucks may be preferred under these circumstances:
Low: Provides extra stability for flip tricks. Designed for small wheels (up to 53mm).
High: Great for cruising and carving. Designed for large wheels (56mm+).

When choosing between high and low trucks you want to consider the type of skating you do the most. High trucks are good for vert ramps and bowls where low trucks have a lower center of gravity and are good for street skating and doing flip tricks.

About Grind King AXL Construction

GK unveils the all new lighter, stronger than ever NEW AXL. V-beam axle (strongest and lightest non-slip) allows more aluminum between axle and top of hanger for more grinds. Beefy baseplate for locked in nose and tailslides. Radial shaped hanger for a smoother, more controlled positive feel when grinding. Ultra rebounding urethane bushings really keep the urethane in place for stability; no more shifting of the bushings. Kingpin is flush with a smoother edge for less interference. GK introduces the revolutionary concave bushing seat. Unlike other trucks that have a flat bushing seat that forces the bushing from side to side, the concave bushing seat design reload the top and bottom bushing around the outer edges. This puts the pressure on the bushing where it is really needed for more straight up and down force. This results in superior recentering and rebound, especially when combined with the new hard-top bushings.

Recomended Deck Width to suit these Trucks

These trucks are suitable to be used with decks with a width of 7.5" - 7.75"
